About this course
Photographs are part of the clinical record and, with consent, part of how a clinic shows its work. This course covers standardised views, lighting, backgrounds, positioning and equipment, so that before-and-after images are comparable and honest.
It then covers the rules: consent that is specific about use, storage as personal data, marketing use, and what not to do with a client's image.
Who it is for: Practitioners and clinic staff who take or manage client photographs.
What you will be able to do
- Capture standardised, repeatable clinical views for the face and body.
- Control lighting, background, distance and expression for honest comparison.
- Obtain consent that distinguishes clinical use from marketing use.
- Store and share images lawfully and securely.
- Recognise editing and presentation practices that are misleading.
