Non-Surgical Body Sculpting
Radiofrequency and electromagnetic muscle stimulation body treatments on live models, with safe technique, contraindications and claims you can stand behind.
Overview
Body treatments without needles, taught in a clinic that runs them every week. You learn the two kinds of body device most clinics use: radiofrequency (RF), which gently heats the skin and the tissue beneath it, and electromagnetic muscle stimulation (EMS), which makes muscles contract. The course is device neutral and honest: RF and EMS are not weight-loss treatments, and you learn to explain what they can and cannot do.
What you'll learn
- How RF heating and EMS work, in plain terms
- Skin, fat and muscle anatomy of the body
- Consultation, body image screening and realistic expectations
- Contraindications, sensation testing and test patches
- Safe RF technique with skin temperature monitoring
- EMS applicator placement and intensity
- Device safety checks, records and aftercare
- Honest advertising for body treatments
Practical training
Each student treats at least one RF area and one EMS area on live models at our Chichester clinic. Maximum of three students.
- Before the day: the course manual, written tasks and a 30-question theory assessment (pass mark 80%)
- Practical day: device checks and demonstrations, then supervised RF and EMS treatments on live models
- Close: observed practical assessment, adverse response drills and a claims workshop
