Overview
Dermaplaning is one of the most popular additions to a facial menu. A sterile blade lifts away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, leaving the skin smoother and ready for products and peels. This one-day course teaches the technique, the safety and the consultation that make it a treatment clients come back for.

Models
Live models are provided by the Academy for the practical session. You do not need to bring your own.
Entry requirements and insurance
A facial qualification and/or Level 3 in Beauty.
Insurance
Before you book, please check with an insurer that you will be able to get insurance for this treatment once you have completed the course. Insurers set their own requirements, and we cannot guarantee that an insurer will cover you.
After your training
Once your certificate is issued, the next step is usually confirming cover with your insurer and adding the treatment to your menu. We can help with both conversations.
Support does not stop when the day ends. You can contact the team with questions as you start treating clients, and we can point you towards suppliers and insurers when you are ready.
